Gerbil Bowling

Speedy and Gimpy decided to visit a place where mom and dad like to play. A bowling alley.

Gimpy: “I don’t like this place at all. It doesn’t smell right. It is the same smell that is
on Mom’s clothes when she comes home from playing this game called bowling.”

Speedy: “I know but e gotta check it out. It looks like fun. Look! The balls look like the
ones at home. It has holes in it like our ball.:

Gimpy :  “But ours has the only one hole.”

Speedy: “I gotta check it out.”

Speedy runs up to nearest bowling ball and trys to climb in and gets stuck. “Gimpy! Help! 
Get me out! I’m stuck.” (Imagine seeing a gerbil butt and tail sticking out.) 

“I told you it wasn’t hollow.” Gimpy grabs Speedy’s legs and pulls. “Pop!” Out comes a gerbil. 

They look around some more. They spot a game room. 

“Speedy…Look. Those machines look like some of the games that mom and dad play at home on that
machine they call a computer.”  They spy a table in the middle. The table has green carpet with
holes on the sides with different colored balls and a stick.

“Yeah! That looks like fun. Let’s check it out.”

They climb up. “Cool! Look at all these colored balls. We can push them into the holes and a nice
stick for us to munch on.” said Speedy. 

Gimpy: “Let’s get the stick first. I need something to gnaw on.” 

Speedy: “Ok.” 

They started chewing when another dark gerbil appears.

“Oye! ¿Qué es usted 2 hacer? “

They look up and saw Rodizo.  “Rodizo!” they said in tandem.

Speedy:  “Sorry. Didn’t know it was you. What did you say?”

Rodizo: “I said, What are you 2 doing? But considering it is you 2. It’s ok.”

Gimpy:  “Good to see you. What are YOU doing here? I thought you were in Argentina.”

Rodizo: “There is an Elvis Impersonator Show coming up. Mom brought me to enter. She thinks I have a
good chance to win.”

Speedy: “We heard about that also. I also heard that Thurston and Putnam are entering into the contest
also. What are you going to sing?”

Rodizo: “I was thinking of either Heartbreak Gerbil Hotel or Love Me Gerbil.”

Gimpy: “Good Choices. Hey…Lets play. We can shove these balls down the holes”

Rodizo: “I was wondering what to do with these balls.”

All 3 of them happily push all the balls down the holes.

Rodizo: “Whew! That was fun. I gotta run and get ready for the show. I hope to see you 2 in the
audience.”

Speedy & Gimpy: “We will. Bye Rodizo. Good Luck!”

Speedy: “That was fun seeing Rodizo.”

Gimpy: “Yeah. That was cool. Let’s go home now. All this playing made me hungry. I want some pumpkin
seeds.

Speedy: “Me too. Let’s go”
