"MOM! Put That Camera Down!"

I got 2 new gerbils on 25 August 2006. They are my SO neices little girls Digger and Honey Bear. Honey Bear is the darker of the two. They are about 2 1/2 years old. Store bought gerbils. Neice went to college and family doesn't want to care for them anymore. They have 2 cats. One cat was constantly bothering them. These are pictures that day after I got them. Honey Bear had some red mucus coming from her eye but it cleared up after a day of good food and yummies. Take a look at later pictures on how nice they plumped up. Very friendly and purring gerbils.The last picture is the last picture I took of Digger. She died Friday, April 20, 2007. Honey Bear will be paired up with a new boyfriend of similar age.
